Colloquium on Quantum Phenomena, Consciousness, and Being
A Brief History of ...

... the COLLOQUIUM ON QUANTUM PHYSICS, CONSCIOUSNESS,
AND BEING...

The organization was established by Cornelia Jarica as a private
initiative in Longmont, Colorado, during the
spring of 2001.  One
year later, a Florida nonprofit corporation was set up.  In the
fall of
2002
the IRS granted the 501(c)3 status of a nonprofit,
charitable, tax-exempt organization.

PAST PROGRAMS

Book Discussion

The public book discussion group Physics & Metaphysics was
founded by Cornelia Jarica during the
summer of 2001 at the main
Public Library in Boulder, Colorado, with the intent to provide an
exchange of ideas and facilitate learning.

First Public Lecture Series in Colorado’s Front Range

The Colloquium’s first guest lecture series consisting of seven
presentations took place in Colorado in the
fall of 2002.  The
invited guest lecturer was
Lothar Schafer, Ph.D., professor of
physical chemistry and author of "
In Search of Divine Reality -
Science as the Source of Inspiration
."  The title of his lecture
was:

”Some Conceptual Aspects of Quantum Reality and the
Consequences for a Comprehensive View of the Evolution of
    Life.”

Second Public Lecture Series, Colorado’s Front Range

During the fall of 2004, Cornelia Jarica gave eleven public and three
private lectures followed by discussions at New Thought and other
churches (Science of Mind, Unity, and Unitarian Universalist) and at
organizations and groups facilitating discussions that focus on
science and spirituality.  The title of her lecture was:

”What (the bleep) is the Nature of Reality and Why (the
     bleep) Should You Care?  -
Exploring Quantum Phenomena, Consciousness, and YOU!”

Third Public Lecture Series and Workshops, California’s
greater Bay Area

During the spring of 2005, Cornelia Jarica gave fourteen public
lectures followed by discussions at New Thought and other
churches (Science of Mind, Unity, and Unitarian Universalist) and at
organizations facilitating discussions that focus on science and
spirituality.  The title of her lecture was:

”What (the bleep) is the Nature of Reality and Why (the
    bleep) Should We Care?  -
    Exploring Quantum Phenomena, Metaphysics,
Consciousness, and How We Create our Experiences!”

She also conducted four workshops in Unconditional Happiness™,
Conscious Creating, and Appreciation
within the organization's new
program offering
Celebrating the Beauty of Living.  The methods
taught represent the practical applications of the organization’s
theoretical work.

Workshops and Special Events, Colorado’s Front Range

During the fall of 2005, Cornelia Jarica offered workshops in
Unconditional Happiness™, Conscious Creating, and Appreciation
within the program offering
Celebrating the Beauty of Living.

The workshops feature delightful and life-changing mental/esoteric
practices in the most important areas of human life with the intent
to experience, celebrate, and express the joys and pleasures of
living and to allow the connection to the source-energy of well-
being.   Techniques and topics include

    o        Cultivating self-adoration and self-love
o        Building and maintaining loving relationships
    o        Developing professional passions
    o        Recognizing and appreciating abundance
    o        Finding fulfillment in nature
    o        Rejuvenating through fitness
o        Creating a gracious living environment
    o        Enjoying leisure time
    o        Understanding transition or death.

In addition to these workshops, two different types of special
events were also offered.

    1)  Spoon-Bending or Psycho-kinetic Workshops
    With Edie Fischer, M.S.

This fun-filled metal bending workshop is a delightful adventure
into expanded consciousness, giving participants a wonderful
opportunity to experience "mind over matter" and tap their innate
psycho-kinetic (PK) abilities.  Cornelia Jarica discusses the
phenomena of (inadequately named) super-sensory perception
and abilities, and Edie Fischer provides an overview of the history
and scientific thinking regarding PK.  After the lecture part,
participants will be lead step by step through experiential exercises.

    2A)  The Intimate Male
    2B)   Journey into Being Male
    With Todd Oja, B.S.

We identify how our American society hinders men to fully develop
an awareness for, nurture, enjoy, and exhibit intimate emotions,
such as love, compassion, affection, tenderness, warmth, care,
kindheartedness, concern, consideration, joyfulness, happiness,
etc.  The workshops leads to an improved understanding for the
current difficulty most men face in this regard due to our limiting
customs and traditions.  Women in particular benefit from
powerful practices for the appreciation of men in their roles as
spouses, sons, fathers, brothers, colleagues, and others.  In
addition, enjoyable mental/esoteric techniques are taught for the
establishment of loving relationships with anyone and for the
cultivation of self-adoration and self-love as the basis of all human
relationships.
